Accutane: Week 8

“I will go anywhere as long as it is forward”

– David Livingston

Hello my lovelies!

Week 8 is here, and boy has it been a rough one. If you follow me on other platforms, you’ll know that this past weekend was not kind to me. I lost a new job that I had not yet started because the store is likely closing, and some asshole decided to blow through most of my checking account. Did I mention that this all happened over my birthday?

Regardless, I worked through it and will survive, but it sucked and the thought of all of it still makes my throat tighten slightly. Target called me to give me my job back and I will receive every penny stolen from me, but I won’t lie and say that I’m completely over it. It was my birthday, and that’s a day I should be celebrating, not spending my time sobbing in the bathroom.

In terms of my Accutane journey, I visited the doctor yesterday and was upped to two 30mg tablets a day, so results will be coming your way around next week and the week after. I’m slightly nervous, but also excited to see what happens with a dosage increase.

Please note that I am well aware that day 46 was edited oddly. I’m not sure what was going through my head at that time, but it’s been done and we’re just going to take it for what it is.

Let’s get started:

  1. Don’t you hate it when your skin is looking good for a few days and then, BAM you get a breakout. Wtf is up with that!? I’m so sorry about your account. My debit card was hacked last week as well. The 5th time in less than 2 years!

    1. The part that killed me most was just watching it all go. It was on a Saturday and I couldn’t do much since they changed my password, I couldn’t go on the app and cancel. I just kept receiving email alerts of all the money I was apparently spending.

    1. It happens. I’m covered and I’ll get it all back. I took the right steps and that’s the best I could do, so I can say with confidence that I handled it all accordingly!
