March and April Empties: Would I Repurchase?

A good friend is like a four leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have”

-Irish Proverb

Hello my lovelies!

It’s time for another empties post! I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve done one of these, but collecting empties takes quite a bit of time to achieve. I don’t have a lot to offer this time around, but as always, I still have an opinion on every product that I want to make known.

Also, you guys; 373 followers? Seriously? Thank you so much! I’m well on my way to surpassing my May goal of 375 followers, and I owe every single one of you a HUGE thank you for that. Thanks for helping make this blog great!

Yes To Tomatoes Clarifying Cleanser –

I’ve actually had this cleanser for about six months, which I consider a fantastic amount of time for a cleanser that I use twice daily. I’m glad to have finally finished this up, given that my skin is no longer in need of a cleanser like this, but I also know that I genuinely enjoyed using this cleanser. Did it clear up my acne and cure any other skin ailments? Of course not, but it did leave my skin feeling squeaky clean without a stripped dry feeling. I also really loved the gel consistency and lack of lather, which is something I tend to look for in a cleanser, as a foamy cleanser can be detrimental to the skin.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping mask –

You guys know that this is my absolute favorite by this point, and I’m so bummed that it’s just not moisturizing enough for my extra dry skin at the moment. I honestly think this overnight mask is made with Jesus’ tears because it is just THAT good, especially for those with oily skin. Too many people with oily skin like to skip moisturizer in their skincare routine, not realizing that oily skin can often be a sign of dehydration. This will keep you hydrated, breakout free, and glowing.

Image result for urban decay corrector green

Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid “Green” –

While I’m hoping to eventually steer away from using green corrector, this stuff does the job well when it comes to the redness of my skin. I use a lot of product to help neutralize the redness on my cheeks, and this corrector has lasted for about nine months. Given How much I use, I consider that an amazing feat. The pigmentation is amazing, the formula is not drying or overly sticky, and it is a true lifesaver for any surfacing pimples or overall redness.

Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer “Fair” –

In all fairness (ha), I purchased this concealer before the two lighter shades came out, so I think it’s safe to say that the lightest shade would’ve been a better fit, as this was too dark for me. Aside from that, this was an overall ok concealer. The coverage left a lot to be desired, but I did really enjoy the finish. I just wish a brand could come out with a luminous concealer, while also maintaining a full coverage look.

Image result for anastasia beverly hills brow wiz

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz “Chocolate” –

This was actually the first brow pencil I had ever bought back in the day, and while I remember loving it then, I found myself really disappointed now. Since my brow game has improved, I go through brow product much more quickly. However, the fact that I paid $21.00 to have this product for only a month really irks me. While I love the pigmentation and quality of this pencil, I can’t justfiy the price for only a month’s use.

Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara –

I have no bad blood with this mascara, and I think it’s one of the best at the drugstore as of right now. I reviewed this mascara recently enough that I won’t go into detail, but just know, This is a mascara worth checking out.

Would I repurchase: Yes!

That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have a magical Monday!

Stay beautiful!

  1. I wanted to buy the Anastasia brow wiz. But me being a student thought it was quite expensive. And as you said it will stay for only a month, I’m really considering it anymore. Besides, I loved the Maybelline Mascara too. I mean, in my way maybelline got the best mascaras!! xx

    1. Yeah, the brow wiz is probably one of the best in terms of quality, but is NOT price friendly. I always though L’Oréal was the best in the Mascara game, but TT is giving L’Oréal a run for its money.

    1. I feel like they can be hit or miss, but I really liked this cleanser for when my skin was oilier and far more acne prone. Thanks for reading!

    1. It won’t do much if you’re on the pretty dry side, but it is meant for oily and combo skin so that would make sense. It’s really great, I would highly recommend it.

  2. I say the same thing about the Anastasia Brow Wiz. Try the Colourpop Brow Boss. Lasts longer and is only $5
