Cruelty Free Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

CrueltyFreeEyes

You might notice some similarities between this look and my cruelty free makeup look. That’s because this is the eye portion, which I wanted to dedicate a separate post to. I’m going to keep this short, as I’m in the car on a Verizon Jetpack, on the way to D.C. for my cousin’s graduation.

Let’s get started:

Eyelids:

  1. Prime the eyes and set with a powder or shadow.
  2. Blend “Safe Word” on a large fluffy brush throughout the crease, extending from inner to outer corner.
  3. Pack and blend “Dominatrix” on the outer corner of the lid, extending in a diagonal motion toward the brow. Blend this shadow into the outer crease for added intensity.
  4. On a flat shader brush, pack “Frosting” on the inner half of the lid, increasing to the intensity that you desire.
  5. Blend out the harsh edges between the two shades on the lid with “Dominatrix”. Fluff this very lightly over the harsh edge of “Frosting” in order to blend out.

Lashline:

  1. Blend “Safe Word” across the entire lashline.
  2. With a pencil brush, place “Dominatrix” on the outer third, blending halfway in.
  3. Place “Frosting” on the inner third of the lashline.

Other:

  1. Place “Frosting” on the inner tear duct as a highlight.
  2. Line the waterline with a gold toned liner.
  3. Curl and coat your lashes. Add falsies if you’d prefer.

That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’ forget to have a beautiful Wednesday.

Stay beautiful!

Soft Glam Eyes Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

softglamface

softglameyes

For the rest of the week up until Christmas Eve, I am going to showcase a few of my favorite holiday looks for you all. Sometimes, the classic red lip just wont do it, and we all need a little variation now and then.

For day one, I wanted to start with a soft but glamorous holiday look, perfect for any party that you may be going to, or just a cozy night at home with family.

Let’s get started:

3605971071492_gwenstefani_alt2

  1. Prime and set the eyelids with a powder close to your skintone.
  2. Take “Stark” on a large fluffy brush and distribute throughout the entire crease as our transition shade.
  3. With “Anaheim”, place on the outer corner of the eye and blend slightly into the outer crease. Since this look is soft, we will not be doing a lot of outer corner definition, so keep a light hand.
  4. On a flat shader brush, pack “Steady” all over the lid and blend together with “Anaheim”. Two layers should give the desired opacity.
  5. Using “Pop” on the same shader brush, pack this shadow directly into the middle of the eyelid for a dimensional glittery appearance.
  6. For the lower lashline, run “Anaheim” along the outer two thirds of the eye, blending down just slightly for a soft, smoked out effect.
  7. Use “Pop” again on the tear duct for a glittery highlight.
  8. Curl and coat your lashes with mascara. I would advise against using falsies, or at least some very natural ones, to keep this look soft.

That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have a wonderful start to the holidays!

Stay beautiful!

Bronze Glittery Eyes with Brown-Red Lips

Hello my lovelies!

bronze-eyes-full-face

Today I wanted to share with you a personal favorite look of mine. This is a look I always fall back on when I feel like I don’t know what to do, and that is because it’s both easy and really pretty.

This is not a full makeup tutorial, however I wanted to include my lip color, as I feel that really completes this whole look.

Let’s get started:

bronze-eyes

  1. As always, prime your eyelids and set with a bone colored shadow.
  2. Pick up any light orange/brown shadow and distribute this throughout your crease for some dimension.
  3. Using a bronze, glittery shadow, pack this all over your eyelid, layering at least twice for opacity.
  4. With a fluffy brush, blend out the edges from the crease and lid shades, being careful not to drag any shimmer shadow into your crease as a result.
  5. Take the same orange/brown eyeshadow and blend all along the lower lashline.
  6. Line the waterline with a nude eyeliner.
  7. Coat the lashes with mascara and add falsies if you’d like.
  8. For the lips, trace around the natural lines of your lips with a light brown/red pencil (overline if you prefer).
  9. Fill in the lips with a brown/red liquid lipstick, for a matte effect.

That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have an awesome hump day! You’ve all earned it!

Simple Eyes With Liner Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

Shaaanxosimpleeye.jpg

I am SO SORRY for my ridiculously long absence! I’ve been moving into my dorm and starting my social life/classes, so it’s been pretty hectic for me. Rest assured, I am back and ready to bring all of you some quality college freshman life.

This look may seem silly and not worth posting, however I wanted to share it, simply for the simplicity of the look, if anything. As always, this is easy to achieve, and looks fabulous on anyone!

Let’s get started:

shaaanpalette

  1. Prime the eyelids and set with shade number one using a flat shader brush.
  2. With a domed fluffy brush, lightly distribute shade number two all throughout the lower and upper crease. This is our transition/crease shade put into one.
  3. Grab your favorite black eyeliner and create a sharp wing. Keep the wing relatively small, as this is meant to be a daytime AND nighttime look.
  4. Using a medium sized packing brush, pack and blend shade number three on the outer corner ONLY. Drag this color slightly into the outer crease will blending for extra dimension. If you are more comfortable performing step four before step three, that is absolutely fine.
  5. For the lower lashline, mix shades two and three and run it along the outer two thirds of the eye.
  6. Highlight the inner corner of your eye with a shade of your choice, using a pencil brush.
  7. Line the entire lower waterline with a black pencil. Do NOT drag this onto the lashline, as this will not be smoked out.
  8. Curl and coat your lashes to Jesus, and add falsies if you’d like.

That’s all I have for you guys today! Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it helps me out so much. Also don’t forget to have a lovely start to your September.

Stay beautiful!

Purple Glam Eye Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

purpleglam

I am back again with a cool toned look using my Kat Von D Innerstellar palette. I know that this palette is going to be gone for good in the near future, so I snagged it under a “set” deal at Sephora. After using it twice now, I’m realizing how much I love the colors, as well as the amazing quality of the shadows. If you’re on the cooler side and have thought about getting this palette, go for it!

Let’s get started:

purpleglampalette

  1. Like always, prime your eyelids and set with shade one (Gravitron).
  2. Using shade two (Killing Moon), on a dense fluffy brush, distribute this throughout your crease, being careful not to drag this too high onto your brow bone. We want to keep that area as clean as possible to maintain the highlight from Gravitron.
  3. Take shade three (Astrological) on a small shadow brush and concentrate this on the outer third of the eye. Don’t worry about building the intensity just yet, as we’re going to layer over top with our lid shadow first.
  4. Wet a medium sized packing brush and coat with shade four (Orion). Pack this all over your lid, and blend very slightly into the outer corner shade.
  5. As we allow the lid shade to dry, go back with Astrological and build up the intensity of the outer corner to your liking. Be sure to always diffuse this into the lid color, since we don’t want any harsh and choppy lines.
  6. Take a fluffy brush again and blend the crease once more, diffusing any harsh lines.
  7. For the lower lashline, take shade two (Killing Moon) and lightly blend along the entire lashline. Using shade three (Astrological), connect the upper and lower outer corners of the eye. Finally, Place shade four (Orion) on the inner third of the lashline, close to the tear duct.
  8. On a pencil brush, take shade five (Lycan) and highlight the inner corner of the eye.
  9. If necessary, take Shade one (Gravitron) on a large shadow brush and clean the brow bone area.
  10. Build up some mascara, add falsies if you wish.

That’s all I have for you guys today. Remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it helps me out a ton. Also don’t forget to have an awesome hump day, it’s almost the weekend!

Stay Beautiful!

Subtle Gold Eye Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

SubtleGoldEye

I hope you are all doing well today. I decided to create a softer everyday look that still incorporates some shimmer. While this may not look like anything super exciting, I was stopped by several people that night, asking how I achieved such a look. I think the biggest key factor to any shining eyelid is wetting your brush, which is exactly what I did here. As always, this look is very easy to recreate, and can be done using any colors of your choosing.

Let’s get started:

SubtleGoldEyepalette

  1. As per usual, prime your eyelids and set with shadow number one using a flat shader brush.
  2. On a large fluffy brush, place shadow number two into your crease and transition area. Blend out this color thoroughly, and layer to your preference each time to create a slightly darker appearance. Be careful not to make this too darkened up, as we are not trying to create an intense look.
  3. Now for the best part. Wet a medium sized packing brush, and coat the brush in shade number three. Generously pack onto the entire eyelid, adding as many layers as you would like.
  4. Allow the shimmer shadow to completely dry, then go back with your fluffy brush and blend out any harsh edges.
  5. With the same packing brush (dry this time), apply shadow number four to the middle of the eyelid only, this will create a slightly 3D effect.
  6. For the lower lashline, you can either leave it bare and apply a nude liner, or run shade number two along the roots of the lashes for a small amount of definition.
  7. On a pencil brush, mix shades five and six and apply to the inner corner for your highlight.
  8. Apply nude eyeliner and coat your lashes in mascara. Add falsies if you’d like.

And there you have it. A subtle and angelic everyday eye look. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it helps me out a lot. Also don’t forget to have a fantastic hump day.

Graduation Yellow Gold Eye Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

GradMOTD

Today I wanted to share with y’all my graduation look. I personally loved the way this looked on me. I paired this golden eye with an orange-red lipstick and bronzed skin, which really tied the whole look together.

Let’s get started:

GradOOTDpalette

  1. Prime your eyelids very well, and set all over with “Blonde”.
  2. Take “Stark” on a fluffy brush and distribute this throughout your upper crease. The close to your brown bone you blend this color, the more dramatic this look will appear.
  3. Mixing “Anaheim” and “Zone” on a smaller fluffy brush, blend this in your lower crease, as well as the outer and inner third of your eyelid just slightly.
  4. Wet a small packing brush, then dip into “1987” and pack at least two coats onto the entire lid.
  5. For the lower lashline, mix “Anaheim” and “Zone” again on a pencil brush, and blend a little over two thirds of the way in.
  6. Take any yellow eyeliner and line your waterline for an added pop of color (optional).
  7. Create a short and thick flick on the eyelid (optional).
  8. Curl and coat your lashes with any preferred mascara; add lashes if you wish.
  9. Highlight the inner corner with any soft, gold toned shadow (optional).

Matte Purple Eye Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

PurpleMatteEyeTutorial

Today I have a matte eye look, which is actually a first for me, since all of my previous looks contained a substantial amount of glitter. I am in love with how this look turned out, and I especially love how simple it was to create. Additionally, the palette I used is so affordable, that for once I would endorse buying it.

Let’s get started:

Mattepurple tutorial

  1. Prime the eyelids and set with shade number one from brow to bone.
  2. Take shade number two on a small blending brush, and distribute it throughout the crease, all the way to the inner corner.
  3. Using a small packing brush, take shade number three and place this on the outer corner of the eye. Blend this shade out, concentrating on the inner corner. Take whatever is left after blending and pull this into the crease.
  4. Using shade number one on another packing brush, place this in the empty area of your eyelid, from the middle to the inner corner. continue to pack up to three layers  for a brightened lid.
  5. For the lower lashline, mix shades two and three on a small packing brush, and run this 2/3 of the way across the lashline, creating an ombre effect by concentrating the most pigment on the outer corner of the eye, and softly dragging and blending the colors inward.
  6. Place shade number four on the inner corner of the eye, using a pencil brush. Be careful to keep this concentrated ONLY on the inner corner, as the lids are meant to be matte.
  7. Curl and coat your lashes to Jesus. Add false lashes if you wish.
  8. Enjoy your easy, affordable, and fashionable matte purple eyes.

That is all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. We are so close to 100 followers! Most importantly, have a great summer week, full of parties, swimming, and barbecue.

Glittery Night Eye Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

Nightlooktutorial

Today I have ANOTHER eye makeup tutorial, since once again, my last was so popular. This look is aimed toward a nighttime setting, however you can wear it whenever you want, because makeup comes off at the end of the day. Since I am me, I wore this the entire day, even did a light workout with it on, because I am go glam or go home.

Let’s get started:

Nightlookpalette

  1. As always, prime your eyelids and set with shadow number one from lid to brow bone.
  2. On a small fluffy brush, take shade number two and place it into your crease. Continue to blend this throughout the crease, as well as slightly above. This is our transition shade.
  3. First using a packing brush, pack shade number 3 across the entire lid. Next, use a large blending brush to distribute this color across the lid and slightly into the crease. When working with a darker color, be sure to take your time blending, and don’t be frustrated if this looks like a black eye at first, we’re getting there!
  4. Continue to add shade number 3 until you are happy with the blending and color payoff. Once again, be sure to create a smokier effect with this shadow, so that we don’t create a bruised look.
  5. Now for the crowning glory, use your ring finger to distribute shade number 4 across your entire lid. From there, use a dense packing brush to create more intensity. Take extreme care not to drag this too far up your eyelid and into the crease. For added intensity, wet your brush and dip into this shadow.
  6. Softly blend out any harsh edges.
  7. Add an intense winged eyeliner, extending all the way to the end of the brow (optional).
  8. For the bottom lashline, take a pencil brush and run shade numbers two and three close to the lashes, about 2/3 of the way in. Be sure to smoke this out as well for a proper balance.
  9. Line your waterline with a black, waterproof pencil. Don’t worry if you end up getting this on your lashline, it’ll easily blend out with your shadows.
  10. Lastly, with another pencil brush, take shade number 5 and coat your inner corner for a brightened look. Wet your brush for added intensity (optional).
  11. Coat your lashes like crazy, and add falsies for added drama if you choose.
  12. Wow your friends with your flawless skillz.

That is all I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoy this more dramatic tutorial from me. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. If you recreate this look, please tag me on Instagram or Twitter (fashionhaus101) so that I can see! Most importantly, have a wonderful summer, and congratulations once again to all graduates!

Bronze Glittery Eye Tutorial

Hello my lovelies!

BronzeyEyeTutorial

Once again I am back with another eye tutorial. I’m beyond excited that you all loved my last tutorial so much, so I decided to post yet another one! I hope you enjoy.

Let’s get started:

BronzeyEyepalettetutorial

  1. Prime the eyelids and set with shadow number 1, from eyelid all the way to the brow bone.
  2. Using a small blending brush, blend out shade number 2 in and slightly above the crease. This is our transition shade, so make sure it’s very well blended.
  3. Take a pencil brush and carve a C shape on your outer lid for some slight definition. You can make this as intense or as subtle as you want.
  4. Using a small packing brush, pack shade 4 all over the lid. You can wet the brush for a more intense, metallic look.
  5. With a large blending brush, blend out all the edges of the shadows so that they appear seamless.
  6. Take an even smaller packing brush, or the one you used earlier, and pack shade 5 in the middle of the eyelid for a duochrome appearance (optional).
  7. For the lower lash line, place shade 3 close to the lashline and blend downward for a smoky look, brining it only halfway. Take shade 2 and pack it along the other have, towards the tear duct (optional).
  8. For an added highlight, place shade 6 on the inner corner and also under the brow bone (optional).
  9. Curl and coat your lashes to jesus. Apply falsies if you wish.
  10. Force everyone to bask in your sunset eyes.

And there you have it, one bronze, glittery eye makeup just for all of you! If you decide to recreate it, please show me by tagging me on either Twitter or Instagram, (fashionhaus101) so that I can see your looks!
